Finished off all the chocolate in the house. No more chocolate.

Stocked up on fruit and veg, so it’ll be a return to the good stuff in the next week. I’m now two full days behind CF mainsite WODs, which is a good position to be in to begin CFE.

I’m still not firing on all cylindars, but I’m not sick. Bit of a hack and some missing snap but it’s nothing that a bit of extra sleep, a return to clean eating and careful training won’t fix.

Work has been controlled madness but I’m lucky to be surrounded and supported by an excellent team, all of who care about what they do and step up without being asked when the pressure’s on.

I’ve spent the last two weeks without fish oil. I don’t recommend it. Recovery has been slower and DOMS, which isn’t an unfamilliar thing, has been hanging around a lot longer than usual. I found some concentrated liquid stuff at the health food shop today – much cheaper and more potent than the supermarket capsules, so yay for that.

Food has been so-so, but I’m getting into the swing of winter cooking and really enjoying it. Something special tomorrow night, and a bit of a last hurrah before getting back off the crack.
